KITTITAS COUNTY <br />AIRPORT DEPARTMENT <br />June 7, 2022 AGENDA <br />AGENDA STAFF REPORT <br /> <br /> <br />AGENDA DATE: June 7, 2022 CONSENT AGENDA <br /> <br />ACTION REQUESTED: REQUEST TO APPROVE A RESOLUTION <br />AUTHORIZING A LEASE AGREEMENT BETWEEN <br />KITTITAS COUNTY AIRPORT AND CERTERFUSE <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />LEAD STAFF: Ken Grannan, Airport Director <br /> Codi Fortier, Administrative Assistant <br /> <br />BACKGROUND: Blackbird Wraps is growing their business and they have <br />grown out of their current office space. Because of this, and <br />that the Airport Office will be moving into a new office <br />space closer to the airfield by the end of the year, the <br />Kittitas County Airport office will move into Blackbird <br />Wraps current office space, and Blackbird Wraps will <br />move into the current Kittitas County Airport office space. <br /> <br />DISCUSSION: The new lease agreement between Kittitas County Airport <br />and CenterFuse will begin July 1, 2022, and end April 30, <br />2023. The base rent for the space will be $1,187.55. This <br />equals to $.65 per square foot. This rate will last until <br />December 31, 2022. One January 1st, 2021, the rate will <br />increase to $.70 a foot.
