BOARDOFCOUNTYCOMMISSIONERSCOUNTYOFKITTITASSTATEOFWASHINGTONRESOLUTIONNO.2021-ARESOLUTIONAUTHORIZINGEXECUTIONOFANINTERLOCALAGREEMENTBETWEENWASHINGTONSTATEPARKSANDRECREATIONCOMMISSIONANDKITTITASCOUNTY,WASHINGTONFORBOATINGSAFETYANDEDUCATIONSERVlCESWHEREAS,RCW39.34,theInterlocalCooperationAct,providesthecapabilityforpublicagenciestocooperatebyprovidingservicesandfacilitiesformutualadvantage;andWHEREAS,WashingtonStateParksandRecreationCommissionprovidesgrantassistancetoagenciesaspadoftheirRecreationalBoatingSafety(RBS)Program;andWHEREAS,KittitasCountyisdesirousofparticipatingintheRBSprogramtohelpreducethenumberandseverityofrecreationalboatingcasualtiesofalltypesassociatedwithrecreationalboatingandensureasafeandenjoyableboatingenvironmentforallusers;andWHEREAS,WashingtonStateParksandRecreationCommissionhasreviewedandacceptedtheapplicationoftheKittitasCountySheriffsOfficeforaRBSFederalFinancialAssistanceGrant;andWHEREAS,thegoverningbodiesofeachofthepartiestotheInterlocalAgreementattachedheretohavedeterminedtoenterintothisInterlocalAgreementbyactiontakenataregularmeeting;andNOW,THEREFORE,BEITHEREBYRESOLVED,thattheBoardofCountyCommissionersofKittitasCounty,WashingtonauthorizestheexecutionoftheInterlocalAgreementfortheHousingofInmatesthatisattachedhereto,andincorporatedhereinbythisreference,andwhichshallbefodhwithfiledwiththeKittitasCountyAuditorpursuanttoRCW39.34.040.ADOPTEDthisdayofL021.BOARDOFCOUCOMMISSIONERSTUYINGTONDouglasR.itchell,DeputyProsecutingAttorneyRESOLUTION
