KITTITAS COUNTY <br />DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS <br />2022 AGENDA STAFF REPORT <br />AGENDA DATE: June 7, 2022 <br />ACTION REQUESTED: Request to schedule a Public Hearing for June 21St, 2022, at <br />2:00 pm local time to consider a Road Vacation request for <br />vacating a portion of Silverton Road. <br />BACKGROUND: Public Works received a road vacation application to vacate <br />public right-of-way for the unconstructed portion of <br />Silverton Road. A public hearing is required by County <br />code considering the merits of the vacation request. At the <br />public hearing, the County Engineer will provide the Board <br />an Engineer's Report addressing the vacation request <br />pursuant to County Code and State law. <br />INTERACTION: Public Works. <br />RECOMMENDATION: Schedule a public hearing for June 21St, 2022, at 2:00 PM <br />local time hearing the vacation request vacating right-of- <br />way for the unconstructed portion of Silverton Road. <br />HANDLING: Return one Notice of Public Hearing to Public Works. <br />ATTACHMENTS: Notice of Public Hearing; Vicinity Map. <br />LEAD STAFF: Joshua Fredrickson, County Engineer <br />
