AGENDA DATE: June 7, 2022
ACTION REQUESTED: Approve an updated Personal Services Agreement
with Bill Clarke
BACKGROUND: Bill Clarke has served as the county’s state legislative affairs
lobbyist for over five years as well as a previous Special
Deputy Prosecutor advising on water and land use issues.
Recognizing his specialized expertise on current issues
pertaining to the county, an updated PSA has been drafted to
bring him on to help train civil legal staff as well as provide
legal advice on potential large-scale real estate transactions.
INTERACTION: Both Bill Clarke and the Prosecuting Attorney’s office have
reviewed and approved the updated PSA
RECOMMENDATION: Approve the updated PSA
HANDLING: Return one signed copy each to Bill Clarke, Prosecuting
Attorney’s office, and BOCC
