ACTION REQUESTED:
The Board of County Commissioners approve the surplus trade-in for two Ford Escapes that
have used by Kittitas County Public Health Department (KCPHD) for one newer vehicle with less
miles and is fuel efficient.
BACKGROUND:
The two Ford Escapes (2008) have high mileage. The vehicles have mechanical issues, such as a
vehicle wobbling over 50 mph, which can affect staff safety. With the age and current miles on
these vehicles, and the projected annual miles that our public health staff put on these vehicles,
it is prudent to replace them. The Kittitas County Public Health Department would like to
consolidate two vehicles for one car with less miles and is fuel efficient.

The Board of County Commissioners approve the trade-in of Ford Escape (VIN-
1FMCU93G39KA19251) Ford Escape (VIN-1FMCU931X8KD90627).
