AGENDA STAFF REPORT
AGENDA DATE: May 17, 2022
ACTION REQUESTED: Request the board hold a public hearing to declare County surplus
property to be sold at auction and removed from County records.
BACKGROUND: Kittitas County extraneous items to be removed from inventory as
surplus. Those items are listed are:
1) IT items to be sold on publicsurplus.com
2) Miscellaneous items to be sold on publicsurplus.com
3) Items to be removed as clean up of tracked inventory listings
4) Public health traded in vehicles 15571 and 15572 previously approved by BOCC
on purchase of new vehicles
5) Sheriff’s office trade in vehicle 18544-1 previously approved by BOCC on
purchase of new vehicle
6) Bushmaster 223 AR-15 Retired duty firearm per Ordinance No 2011-003 and
resolution No 2017-018
RECOMMENDATION: Recommend the Board of County Commissioners approve the
Resolution to declare all items surplus which no longer have any
value to the County
