ACTION REQUESTED: REQUEST TO APPROVE A RESOLUTION
ACKNOWLEDGING THE MUTUAL TERMINATION
AGREEMENT BETWEEN PUBLIC WORKS AND
BOWERS FIELD FOR LOTS C-5 & C-6.
LEAD STAFF: Ken Grannan, Airport Director
BACKGROUND: Public Works entered a lease agreement with the airport for
lots C-5 & C-6 in 2017. Recently KCPW chose to
terminate their lease with the Airport and transfer the fence
asset to the Airport Department.
DISCUSSION: The termination of this lease is to provide an opportunity
for the Sheriff’s Office to lease the property for storage
purposes. A lease is proposed with the Sheriff's Office for
approval. A mutual termination agreement was signed and
is presented with this resolution.
INTERACTION: Public Works, BoCC, Staff, Prosecutors Office

RECOMMENDATION: Approve the Resolution approving the mutual termination
agreement.
