KITTITAS COUNTY <br />AIRPORT DEPARTMENT <br />MAY 3, 2022 AGENDA <br />AGENDA STAFF REPORT <br /> <br />AGENDA DATE: 05/3/2022 AGENDA SESSION <br /> <br />ACTION REQUESTED: REQUEST TO APPROVE A RESOLUTION <br />ACKNOWLEDGING THE MUTUAL TERMINATION <br />AGREEMENT BETWEEN PUBLIC WORKS AND <br />BOWERS FIELD FOR LOTS C-5 & C-6. <br /> <br /> <br />LEAD STAFF: Ken Grannan, Airport Director <br /> <br />BACKGROUND: Public Works entered a lease agreement with the airport for <br />lots C-5 & C-6 in 2017. Recently KCPW chose to <br />terminate their lease with the Airport and transfer the fence <br />asset to the Airport Department. <br /> <br />DISCUSSION: The termination of this lease is to provide an opportunity <br />for the Sheriff’s Office to lease the property for storage <br />purposes. A lease is proposed with the Sheriff's Office for <br />approval. A mutual termination agreement was signed and <br />is presented with this resolution. <br /> <br />INTERACTION: Public Works, BoCC, Staff, Prosecutors Office <br /> <br />STAFF <br />RECOMMENDATION: Approve the Resolution approving the mutual termination <br />agreement. <br /> <br />HANDLING: Original to Clerk <br /> Original to Airport <br /> Copy to Public Works <br /> <br />ATTACHMENTS: Mutual Termination Agreement and Resolution
