KITTITAS COUNTY <br />DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS <br />2022 AGENDA STAFF REPORT <br />AGENDA DATE: May 3, 2022 <br />ACTION REQUESTED: Set a Public Hearing for May 17, 2022, at 2:00 pm, local <br />time, to consider a Proposed Vacation of a Portion of <br />Holiday Avenue in Vantage, WA <br />BACKGROUND: Grant County PUD proposes intensifying land use in the <br />vicinity of Holiday Avenue in Vantage, WA. There is no <br />public parking associated with Holiday Avenue. The <br />proposed swim area, at the old private marina site, is <br />expected to create an attractive nuisance for an adjoining <br />property owner. Public Works proposes vacating a portion <br />of Holiday Avenue to the adjoining property owner and to <br />Water District No. 6, reserving an access easement for <br />District 6. <br />INTERACTION: Public Works. <br />RECOMMENDATION: Schedule a public hearing for May 17, 2022, at 2:00 pm, <br />local time, to consider vacating a portion of Holiday <br />Avenue in Vantage, WA. <br />HANDLING: Return one original to Public Works. <br />ATTACHMENTS: Notice of Public Hearing; Map of proposed vacation. <br />LEAD STAFF: Mark R.
