AGENDA DATE: April 19, 2021
ACTION REQUESTED: Request to Set a Public Hearing for 2022 Non-Docket Amendments to
Kittitas County Code Titles 12, 15A, 16, and 17
BACKGROUND: CDS staff is requesting to set a public hearing for May 17, 2022 at 6:00 p.m. for
consideration of proposed amendments to Kittitas County Code through an out of cycle
non-docket process. The County is proposing non-docket amendments for
consideration by the Kittitas County Board of County Commissioners. The
amendments must be consistent with the Growth Management Act and other applicable
state laws, applicable countywide planning policies, and the goals, policies, and
objectives of the Comprehensive Plan.
A Planning Commission public hearing took place on April 12, 2022 where
recommendations were made for the Board of County Commissioners to consider. A
staff report containing staff recommendations and the Planning Commission
recommendations, along with the docket items will be provided prior to the public
hearing. All docket items are currently available for review on the Community
Development Services website at:
