KITTITAS COUNTY <br />Board of County Commissioners <br /> <br />AGENDA STAFF REPORT <br /> <br />AGENDA DATE: April 19th, 2022 <br /> <br />ACTION REQUESTED: Request the Board of County Commissioners (BOCC) to approve and <br />sign Amendment No. 1 to the Professional Services Agreement with <br />Chamber of Commerce for Tourism Services for 2022. <br /> <br /> <br />BACKGROUND: The Chamber PSA was signed on January 4th, 2022. The Auditor’s <br />Office needed more clarification on a few line items and that the <br />proposed budget did not equal the amount of the contract. During the <br />specially scheduled meeting of the Lodging Tax Advisory Committee <br />(LTAC) on April 7th, 2022 the proposed budget correction for the <br />Chamber of Commerce PSA for Tourism Services for 2022 was <br />discussed, and the Committee unanimously voted to accept the <br />proposed changes. <br /> <br />INTERACTION: The LTAC voted unanimously to forward a recommendation of <br />allocating up to $325,500.00 for the proposed Professional Services <br />Agreement with the Chamber of Commerce.
