AGENDA DATE: April 19, 2022
ACTION REQUESTED: Request the Board of County Commissioners (BOCC) to approve and
sign a letter to HopeSource to terminate Contract HH-2020-002-CIP
as amended.
BACKGROUND: The Addison Place project was brough to the Committee in March
2020. At the time it was the best use of funds. This project ran in to
multiple roadblocks in the process and has been extended twice due to
timeline delays. The project has still not moved forward. The
termination of this contract is only needed if the BOCC approves the
HopeSource Pathways Purchase, that is because we would need to roll
the dedicated funds from Addison Place into the Pathways purchase.
The termination would be effective 30 days after signing with
HopeSource being ineligible to claim expense after the date of
signing.
INTERACTION: During the specially scheduled meeting of the HAHC on 3-18-22, the
committee reviewed the application submitted by HopeSource. The
committee voted unanimously to approve and recommend the
Pathways project while terminating the Addison Project and re-
distributing those funds to Pathways. DPA Mitchell approved the
termination letter with SR #53860
RECOMMENDATION: Approve and Sign a letter to HopeSource to terminate Contract HH-
2020-002-CIP as amended.
