(amended with amendment No. 1 and No. 2).
Notice of Intent to Terminate
Dear Mr. Kelly,
This letter provides written notice of the Kittitas County Board of County Commissioners
decision to terminate the Contract between Kittitas County and HopeSource HH-2020-002-
HopeSource-CIP. This decision is pursuant to Section 9.2 of the Contract, termination for
convenience.
This contract was entered into after an application was submitted to the Homelessness and
Affordable Housing Committee. The Committee felt at that time it was the best project to use the
allocated funds for. Time has now passed with no actionable activity taken place on this project;
the Addison Place Project is no longer the best use of these funds. These funds will still be
allocated to HopeSource, the project fund balance will be transferred to HH-2022-001-
HopeSource-Pathways.
Thank you for your consideration in this matter. Your desire and willingness to support housing
opportunities for Kittitas County residents is well known to this Board. We hope to continue
supporting other projects of HopeSource.
