Joint BOCC/BOH Public Hearing to consider the following:
• 2022 Public Health Fee Schedule
Tristen Lamb presented the 2022 Public Health Fee Schedule and the new process on how to adopt the new fee
schedule.
No public comment at this time.
Motion to approve the 2022 Public Health Fee Schedule.

Public Health Fee Schedule. Brett Wachsmith second. All approved. Motion 01-01 carried to approve the 2022

Health Officer Update
Dr. Mark Larson updated the board on the following topics:
• COVID-19 data in Washington State
• Viruses circulating at the moment
• COVID-19 rates between vaccinated and not vaccinated
• Vaccination rates

• Kittitas County COVID-19 incidence rate
Discussion on new omicron variant and if that causes long COVID.
Director’s Report
Ms. Lamb updated the board on the following topics:
• Leadership team and others training on January 28th
• Changes to the Fee Schedule process
• Record breaking CICT response
• BOH vacancy and recruitment progress update
• House Bill 1152 Implementation progress update
• Public Health Director Recruitment update
• Annual BOH orientation scheduled for February (tentatively)
• COVID-19 Communication project presentation in February
• Code Revision Public Hearing request
• 2020/2021 Annual report

Elect Kittitas County Board of Health Vice-Chair
Motion to approve Dede Utley as new Kittitas County Board of Health Vice-Chair
Motion 01-03: Motion to approve Dede Utley as new Kittitas County Board of Health Vice-Chair. Cory Wright
moved to approve Dede Utley as new Kittitas County Board of Health Vice-Chair. Brett Wachsmith second. All
approved. Motion 01-03 carried to approve Dede Utley as the new Kittitas County Board of Health Vice-Chair.
Request to set joint BOCC/BOH public hearing to consider revisions to Kittitas County Code Chapter 13.04 On -Site
Sewage Disposal Systems during the next regularly scheduled Kittitas County Board of Health meeting on February
17, 2022, at 10am

All approved. Motion 01-04 carried to approve joint BOCC/BOH public hearing to consider revisions to Kittitas
County Code Chapter 13.04 On-Site Sewage Disposal Systems during next regularly scheduled Kittitas County
Board of Health meeting at the February 2022 BOH meeting.
Kittitas County Code Chapter 2.10 Board of Health Proposed Changes
Ms. Lamb presented proposed changes to the Kittitas County Code Chapter 2.10 Board of Health Proposed
Changes including Board of Health composition and p ossible compensation of Board of Health members not
already being compensated for their time.
Discussion on the compensation of Board of Health members and the precedence that it would have with all other
Kittitas County committees or Boards.

Katie Odiaga gave a financial update on 2020 COVID-19 Expenses, 2021 COVID-19 Revenue and Expenses, and
Total Revenues and Expenses.
