COMMISSIONERS' MINUTES KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON CONF. ROOM/WEBEX SPECIAL MEETING TUESDAY 10:30 A.M. MARCH 29, 2022
Board members present: Chairman Laura Osiadacz; Vice-Chairman Cory
Wright and Commissioner Brett Wachsmith.
Others: Taylor Crouch, Administrative Assistant; Patti Stacey,
Solid Waste Director/Interim Maintenance Director/Project Manager;
and Neil Caulkins, Chief Civil Deputy.
SPECIAL MEETING EXECUTIVE SESSION COMMISSIONERS
At 10:30 a.m. Chairman Osiadacz opened a Special Meeting and
announced the Board would recess into an Executive Session for 10
minutes to consider the selection of a site or the acquisition of
real estate by lease or purchase when public knowledge regarding
such consideration would cause a likelihood of increased price.
Action anticipated.
At 10:40 a.m. the Board reconvened out of Executive Session. No
action was taken.
At 10:40 a.m. Chairman Osiadacz announced the Board would recess
back into Executive Session for 5 minutes to consider the selection
of a site or the acquisition of real estate by lease or purchase
when public knowledge regarding such consideration would cause a
likelihood of increased price. Action Anticipated.
At 10:45 a.m. the Board reconvened out of Executive Session. There
was direction to Staff to enter into a Purchase and Sale agreement
and a Lease Agreement, and have Director Stacey follow Board
direction for the purchase of the properties.
At 10:48 a.m. Chairman Osiadacz announced the Board would recess
back into Executive Session for 10 minutes to consider the selection
of a site or the acquisition of real estate by lease or purchase
when public knowledge regarding such consideration would cause a
likelihood of increased price. Action Anticipated.
At 10:58 a.m. the Board reconvened out of Executive Session. There
was direction to Staff to get an appraisal of the property and to
start preparing for the sale of said property.
Meeting adjourned at 10:59 a.m.
