2022-03-29 MINUTES 1 <br />COMMISSIONERS' MINUTES KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON CONF. ROOM/WEBEX SPECIAL MEETING TUESDAY 10:30 A.M. MARCH 29, 2022 <br />Board members present: Chairman Laura Osiadacz; Vice-Chairman Cory <br />Wright and Commissioner Brett Wachsmith. <br /> <br />Others: Taylor Crouch, Administrative Assistant; Patti Stacey, <br />Solid Waste Director/Interim Maintenance Director/Project Manager; <br />and Neil Caulkins, Chief Civil Deputy. <br /> SPECIAL MEETING EXECUTIVE SESSION COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />At 10:30 a.m. Chairman Osiadacz opened a Special Meeting and <br />announced the Board would recess into an Executive Session for 10 <br />minutes to consider the selection of a site or the acquisition of <br />real estate by lease or purchase when public knowledge regarding <br />such consideration would cause a likelihood of increased price. <br />Action anticipated. <br /> <br />At 10:40 a.m. the Board reconvened out of Executive Session. No <br />action was taken. <br /> <br />At 10:40 a.m. Chairman Osiadacz announced the Board would recess <br />back into Executive Session for 5 minutes to consider the selection <br />of a site or the acquisition of real estate by lease or purchase <br />when public knowledge regarding such consideration would cause a <br />likelihood of increased price. Action Anticipated. <br /> <br />At 10:45 a.m. the Board reconvened out of Executive Session. There <br />was direction to Staff to enter into a Purchase and Sale agreement <br />and a Lease Agreement, and have Director Stacey follow Board <br />direction for the purchase of the properties. <br /> <br />At 10:48 a.m. Chairman Osiadacz announced the Board would recess <br />back into Executive Session for 10 minutes to consider the selection <br />of a site or the acquisition of real estate by lease or purchase <br />when public knowledge regarding such consideration would cause a <br />likelihood of increased price. Action Anticipated. <br /> <br />At 10:58 a.m. the Board reconvened out of Executive Session.
