COMMISSIONERS' MINUTES KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON BOCC CONFERENCE ROOM/WEBEX SPECIAL MEETING MONDAY 10:00 A.M. MARCH 28, 2022
Board members present: Chairman Laura Osiadacz, Vice-Chair Cory
Wright; and Commissioner Brett Wachsmith.
Others: Julie Kjorsvik, Clerk of the Board and 1 member of the
public.
SPECIAL MEETING MEETING CONFLICTS COMMISSIONERS
At 10:00 a.m. Chairman Osiadacz called a Special Meeting to order to
discuss Board commitments and individual conflicts with Board
meetings.
The Board discussed how each one of them have various individual
meetings outside of the office, and how it was important to have a
presence at them while realizing there may be an occasional conflict
with a Commissioner meeting. Commissioner Wright said over the years
a lot has changed where Commissioners have an increase of outside
representation on groups and it’s important to be at those meetings.
All three Board members agreed that if one of them has a conflict
with a Board meeting, that it’s alright to move forward as long as
there’s a quorum. They felt it was important to have someone
advocating for Kittitas County at those outside commitments and
meetings.
