Public Works recommends approving this event with the following conditions below: 1. Local advertisement in the Daily Record and physical posting two (2) weeks in advance to inform the traveling public of the upcoming event in order to give notice to plan an alternate route during the time of the event. 2. Non-profits are considered exempt from paying admissions tax for events where they are the beneficiary, so long as we are provided documentation of their nonprofit status.
