KITTITAS COUNTY <br />COUNTY AUDITOR <br /> <br />AGENDA STAFF REPORT <br /> <br /> <br />AGENDA DATE: March 15, 2022 <br /> <br />ACTION REQUESTED: Request to set a Public Hearing 2:00 pm on April 5, 2022 <br />to consider adopting County Commissioner District <br />Boundaries and to remove Voting Precincts from County <br />Code. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />BACKGROUND: The County Commissioners established an advisory <br />committee to work through the process of redrawing <br />Commissioner District lines based on the population <br />numbers from the 2020 census. The County Auditor’s <br />Office and the County IT Department assisted in the <br />process. In February, the County Commissioners accepted <br />the map as drawn by the Advisory Committee and <br />requested enabling documents be created.
