TO AWARD THE BID TO FURNISH MAINTENANCE ROCK MATERIALS FOR ONE
(1) CALENDAR YEAR FOLLOWING CONTRACT EXECUTION AND AUTHORIZE
THE PUBLIC WORKS DIRECTOR TO SIGN CONTRACT DOCUMENTS
WHEREAS: A Notice of Call for Bids was approved and signed on February 1,2022,to
furnish Maintenance Rock Materials for 2022; and
WHEREAS: Sealed bids were opened on February I7,2022, at2:00 pm in the Kittitas County
Public Works Office and one (1) bid was received; and
WHEREAS: The Public Works Department recommends that the responsible bid of Ellensburg
Cement Products,Inc. be accepted for Schedules "A", "B" and "C" for
Maintenance Rock Materials for one (1) calendar year following contract
execution; and
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of County Commissioners, in the
best interest of the public, does hereby award the bid for 2022 Maintenance Rock Materials to
Ellensburg Cement Products, Inc. for Schedules ooA",ooB", ando'C", upon such terms and
conditions as specified in the Proposal submitted by said bidder(s); and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of Public Works is authorized to sign the
contract documents upon such terms and conditions specified in the Proposal submitted by said
bidder(s).
