BOARD OF COTINTY COMMISSIONERS <br />COUNTY OF KITTITAS <br />STATE OF WASHINGTON <br />RESOLUTION <br />No.2022- e a5 <br />TO AWARD THE BID TO FURNISH LIQUID ASPHALT MATERIALS F'OR 2022 <br />WHEREAS: A Notice of Call for Bids was approved and signed on February I,2022,to <br />fumish Liquid Asphalt Materials for 2022; and <br />WHEREAS: Sealed bids were opened on February 17,2022, at2:00 p.m. in the Kittitas County <br />Public Works Office, and three (3) bids were received; and <br />WHEREAS: The Public Works Department recommends that the responsible bid of Ergon <br />Asphalt and Emulsions for Schedule "A" and Albina Asphalt for Schedule "B" be <br />accepted; and <br />NOW' THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of County Commissioners, in the <br />best interest of the public, does hereby award the bid for 2022 Liquid Asphalt Materials to Ergon <br />Asphalt and Emulsions for Schedule o'A" and Albina Asphalt for Schedule "B", upon such terms <br />and conditions as specified in the Proposal submitted by said bidder(s). <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of Public Works is authorized to sign the <br />contract documents upon such terms and conditions specified in the Proposal submitted by said <br />bidder(s). <br />DATED this lst day of March2022, at Ellensburg, Washington. <br />BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON <br />Chairman <br />Board- Julie Kiorsvik <br />Cory Wright, Vice-Chjirman <br />I Depuly Clerk of the Board- Mandy Buchholz <br />r <br />Commissioner
