COMMISSIONERS' MINUTES KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON COMMISSIONER’S AUDITORIUM/ WEBEX EMERGENCY/SPECIAL MEETING
FRIDAY 3:00 P.M. FEBRUARY 11, 2022
Board members present via Webex: Chairman Laura Osiadacz, and
Commissioner Brett Wachsmith. Excused: Vice-Chairman Cory Wright.
Others via Webex: Taylor Crouch, Administrative Assistant; Jim
Goeben, IT Director; Jeremy Reynolds, KCSO Technologist; Josh
Frederickson, County Engineer; Darren Higashiyama, KCSO Chief
Administrative Deputy; Chris Whitsett, KCSO Inspector; Clay Myers,
Sheriff; Ken Wade, EPD; Heidi Behrends Cerniway, City of Ellensburg;
Terry Weiner, City of Ellensburg; Kirk Bland, CERPD; Brent Hals,

of Ellensburg; and 3 members of the public. SPECIAL MEETING EMERGENCY/SPECIAL MEETING SHERIFF
At 3:00 p.m. Chairman Osiadacz opened an Emergency/Special Meeting
and initiated introductions.
At 3:05 p.m. Chairman Osiadacz announced the Board would recess into
Executive Session for 15 minutes with Jim Goeben, IT Director;
Jeremy Reynolds, KCSO Technologist; Josh Frederickson, County
Engineer; Darren Higashiyama, KCSO Chief Administrative Deputy;
Chris Whitsett, KCSO Inspector; Clay Myers, Sheriff; Ken Wade, EPD;
Heidi Behrends Cerniway, City of Ellensburg; Terry Weiner, City of
Ellensburg; Kirk Bland, CERPD; Brent Hals, City of Roslyn; Jason
Berthon-Koch, CWUPD; Andreas Bohman, CWU; Richard Hink; City of
Kittitas; John Sinclair, KVFR; George Long, Kittcom; Mark
Harmsworth, City of Cle Elum; John Storch, City of Ellensburg; Ben
Faubion, City of Ellensburg; and Nancy Lilliquist, City of
Ellensburg under RCW 42.30.110 (1.a.i) to consider matters affecting
national security. No action anticipated.
At 3:20 p.m. the Board reconvened out of Executive Session. There
was no action taken.
Meeting adjourned at 3:21 p.m.
