AUTHORIZING THE SELECTION OF TRANTECH ENGINEERING LLC FOR
SUPPORTING DESIGN OF THE REPLACEMENT OF BRIDGE #89342 VANTAGE
HIGHWAY OVER CASCADE CANAL AND AUTHORIZE THE PUBLIC WORKS
DIRECTOR TO NEGOTIATE AND EXECUTE A LOCAL AGENCY A & E
PROFESSTONAL SERVICES AGREEMENT FOR THE SAME, CRp 310-21.
WHEREAS: Kittitas County Public Works advertised a Request for Statement of
Qualifications For Designing the Replacement of Bridge #89342, Vantage
Highway Over Cascade Canal; and

Submittals were due by January 13,2022; and
There were four (4) firms that submitted their qualifications for review; and
Kittitas County Public Works reviewed the submittals and recommends
TranTech Engineering LLC to be the selected design firm;
NOW' THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of County Commissioners, in the best
interest of the public, does hereby select TranTech Engineering for Design of the
Replacement of Bridge #89342 Vantage Highway over Cascade Canal, and
authorize the Public Works Director to negotiate and execute a Local Agency A
& E Professional Services Agreement for the same, CRP 310-21.
