KITTITAS COUNTY <br />Board of County Commissioners <br /> <br />AGENDA STAFF REPORT <br /> <br />AGENDA DATE: February 15th, 2022 <br /> <br />ACTION REQUESTED: Request the Board of County Commissioners (BOCC) to approve and sign Amendment No. 2 to Contract HH-202-002-HopeSource-CIP <br /> <br /> <br />BACKGROUND: The Homeless and Affordable Housing Committee (HAHC) received a request from HopeSource for funding for a project to build 5 new units ion Ellensburg in 2020. The contract <br />had an original end date of 12-31-2020. At the end of 2020 HopeSource asked for a one-year extension to complete the project, that was amendment No. 1. There were more difficulties in <br />2021 and HopeSource is now asking for one more one-year extension to complete this project. <br /> <br />INTERACTION: During the regularly scheduled meeting of the HAHC on 1-28-22, the committee reviewed the application submitted by HopeSource. The committee voted unanimously to approve <br />and recommend the extension to the BOCC.
