ACTION REQUESTED: Approve a Resolution authorizing an Interagency Grant
Agreement between the Washington State Department of
Commerce and Kittitas County for the Community
Development Block Grant (CDBG) Program General
Purpose Grant (FISH Food Bank & Food Pantry Expansion
project).
BACKGROUND: The proposed Interagency Grant Agreement has been sent
to Kittitas County for the Community Development Block
Grant (CDBG) Program, General Purpose Grant. This is
for the Food Bank and Food Pantry Expansion with Friends
in Service to Humanity (FISH-Ellensburg). It is in the
amount of $900,000.00 beginning September 10, 2021,
through January 31, 2026.
INTERACTION: The Prosecutor’s office has approved the Interagency Grant
Agreement (CAMAS #53495) and the Auditor’s office has
approved it as well.
RECOMMENDATION: Approve a Resolution authorizing an Interagency Grant
Agreement with the Department of Commerce for the FISH
Food Bank & Food Pantry Expansion project, in the
amount of $900,000.00 from September 10, 2021, through
January 31, 2026.
