KITTITAS COUNTY <br />BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />AGENDA STAFF REPORT <br /> <br />AGENDA DATE: February 15, 2022 <br /> <br />ACTION REQUESTED: Approve a Resolution authorizing an Interagency Grant <br />Agreement between the Washington State Department of <br />Commerce and Kittitas County for the Community <br />Development Block Grant (CDBG) Program General <br />Purpose Grant (FISH Food Bank & Food Pantry Expansion <br />project). <br /> <br /> <br />BACKGROUND: The proposed Interagency Grant Agreement has been sent <br />to Kittitas County for the Community Development Block <br />Grant (CDBG) Program, General Purpose Grant. This is <br />for the Food Bank and Food Pantry Expansion with Friends <br />in Service to Humanity (FISH-Ellensburg). It is in the <br />amount of $900,000.00 beginning September 10, 2021, <br />through January 31, 2026. <br /> <br />INTERACTION: The Prosecutor’s office has approved the Interagency Grant <br />Agreement (CAMAS #53495) and the Auditor’s office has <br />approved it as well. <br /> <br />RECOMMENDATION: Approve a Resolution authorizing an Interagency Grant <br />Agreement with the Department of Commerce for the FISH <br />Food Bank & Food Pantry Expansion project, in the <br />amount of $900,000.00 from September 10, 2021, through <br />January 31, 2026. <br /> <br />HANDLING: 1 – Clerk of the Board <br /> 1 copy – Jerry Pettit/Auditors office <br /> 1 copy – FISH Food Bank <br /> <br />ATTACHMENTS: Resolution <br /> WA State Department of Commerce Interagency Grant <br />Agreement <br /> <br />LEAD STAFF: Julie Kjorsvik, Clerk of the Board <br /> Dora Van Epps, Auditor’s office <br /> Jerry Pettit, Auditor <br /> <br />
