WSU EXTENSION
AGENDA STAFF REPORT
AGENDA DATE: February 15, 2022
ACTION REQUESTED: Approval and signature of Appendix to MOA between WSU
Extension and Kittitas County for the 2022 Extension Program.
BACKGROUND: This revised MOA Appendix A amount reflects a routing change in
funding for the 4-H Program Manager position and the Master Gardener Program
Coordinator position. The county/departmental budget remains the same, and the position
responsibilities remain the same, but WSU will issue a paycheck and the employee will
be subject to WSU employment processes rather than Kittitas County’s for ease of
position administration.
INTERACTION:
RECOMMENDATION: Approval and signature by Chair of BOCC on two originals of
Appendix A.
HANDLING: Tip will forward two originals of Appendix A to WSU for necessary
signatures and return one signed original to BOCC.
