RE: Request approval of Resolution and Order authorizing the transfer of ownership
of Tax Title Property Parcel #524833
Background: The Kittitas County Treasurer’s Office has found that tax
title parcel #524833 is submerged in the Columbia River,
surrounded by other parcels owned by Grant County PUD,
and likely overlooked as part of a 1915 land transfer related
to construction of the Wanapum Dam.
Interaction: The Treasurer’s Office has reviewed information related to
this parcel, corresponded with Grant County PUD and
conferred with legal counsel.
Recommendation: The Treasurer recommends that the Commissioners
approve the transfer of ownership of parcel #524833 to
Grant County PUD.
