KITTITAS COUNTY <br />AIRPORT DEPARTMENT <br />February 1, 2022 AGENDA <br />AGENDA STAFF REPORT <br /> <br /> <br />AGENDA DATE: FEBRUARY 1, 2022 CONSENT AGENDA <br /> <br />ACTION REQUESTED: REQUEST TO SET A PUBLIC HEARING TO <br />CONSIDER NEW AERONAUTICAL LEASES FOR <br />COUNTY OWNED T-HANGARS AT BOWERS FIELD <br />AIRPORT. <br /> <br /> <br />BACKGROUND: Bowers Field Airport requests to set a public hearing on <br />February 15, 2022, to consider entering into 12 new, year- <br />long, leases for County owned T-Hangars. <br /> <br />DISCUSSION: Bowers Field Airport is transitioning all T-Hangar leases <br />from “month-to-month” to annual terms. <br /> With this update, the rate at which these Hangars are leased <br />will increase from $125/$150 per month, to $175 per <br />month, keeping in line with current market trends and the <br />findings of our most current market study. <br /> <br />INTERACTION: AAC, BoCC, and Prosecutors Office #53084. <br /> <br />RECOMMENDATION: Set public hearing concerning T-Hangar Leases for <br />February 15th, 2022, at 2pm. <br />HANDLING: None <br /> <br />ATTACHMENTS: Public notice <br /> <br />LEAD STAFF: Ken Grannan <br />Airport Director
