ACTION REQUESTED: REQUEST TO APPROVE A RESOLUTION FOR A
PROFESSIONAL SERVICES AGREEMENT WITH
AERONTII LLC.
BACKGROUND: Bowers Field Airport requests the approval of a
professional services agreement with Aerontii LLC for
commercial aeronautical marketing services for Bowers
Field. This agreement will further the development,
congruent to the Bowers Field Strategic Plan, focusing on
generating commercial aeronautical services at the Airport.
DISCUSSION: This agreement will identify and solidify commercial
aerospace investment growth strategies for Bowers Field
focusing on two specific projects.
1.) Aviation Trade School Campus focused on providing
qualified Airframe and Powerplant technicians.
2.) Developing “Airport of the Future” model targeting
emerging technology especially electric powered
aircraft and powerplant manufacturers located in
Western Washington and within the Pacific Northwest.
The initial funding for this project is via the
remaining Strategic Planning grant funds with WSDOT
Aviation. Additional funding, if necessary, will be
provided through a percentage of lease revenue from
businesses directly located at Bowers Field through
Aerontii, LLC’s accomplishments.
INTERACTION: AAC, BoCC, Prosecutors Office.
RECOMMENDATION: To approve the a professional services agreement with
Aerontii, LLC..
