KITTITAS COUNTY <br />AIRPORT DEPARTMENT <br />February 1, 2022 <br />AGENDA STAFF REPORT <br /> <br />AGENDA DATE: February 1, 2022 CONSENT AGENDA <br /> <br />ACTION REQUESTED: REQUEST TO APPROVE A RESOLUTION FOR A <br />PROFESSIONAL SERVICES AGREEMENT WITH <br />AERONTII LLC. <br /> <br /> <br />BACKGROUND: Bowers Field Airport requests the approval of a <br />professional services agreement with Aerontii LLC for <br />commercial aeronautical marketing services for Bowers <br />Field. This agreement will further the development, <br />congruent to the Bowers Field Strategic Plan, focusing on <br />generating commercial aeronautical services at the Airport. <br /> <br />DISCUSSION: This agreement will identify and solidify commercial <br />aerospace investment growth strategies for Bowers Field <br />focusing on two specific projects. <br />1.) Aviation Trade School Campus focused on providing <br />qualified Airframe and Powerplant technicians. <br />2.) Developing “Airport of the Future” model targeting <br />emerging technology especially electric powered <br />aircraft and powerplant manufacturers located in <br />Western Washington and within the Pacific Northwest. <br /> <br /> The initial funding for this project is via the <br /> remaining Strategic Planning grant funds with WSDOT <br /> Aviation. Additional funding, if necessary, will be <br /> provided through a percentage of lease revenue from <br /> businesses directly located at Bowers Field through <br /> Aerontii, LLC’s accomplishments. <br /> <br />INTERACTION: AAC, BoCC, Prosecutors Office. <br /> <br />RECOMMENDATION: To approve the a professional services agreement with <br />Aerontii, LLC.. <br />HANDLING: Original to Clerk <br /> Origianl to the Airport for Aerontii, LLC signature <br /> <br />ATTACHMENTS: Professional Services Agreement, Resolution. <br />
