Kittitps .eountyAuditor <br />Agenda Staff Report <br />AGENDA DATE: <br />2/I/2022 <br />ACTION REQUESTED: <br />Request to set a Public Hearing to consider adoption of County Commissioner District Boundaries. <br />BACKGROUND: <br />lhgKifiitls County Board of Commissioner established, by resolution, a County Commissioner <br />RedistrictinS _{dyi.sory Committee. The Committee has met and unanimously approved a plan to be <br />presented to the Kittitas County Commissioners for adoption. <br />INTERACTION: <br />lne-rctlitry^County Commissioner Redistricting Advisory Committee met with the support of the County <br />Auditor's Office and technical assistance from the County Information Technology Department to develop <br />the process for redrawing and approving a recommendation to the County Commissioners. <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br />Set a Public Hearing for Tuesday, February 15,2022, at2:00 p.m. to be hetd in the Commissioner's <br />Auditorium and via Webex to consider adoption of County Commissioner District Boundaries as <br />recommended by the Kittitas County Commissioner Redistricting Advisory Committee. <br />HANDLING: <br />Clerk of the Board <br />Auditols Office <br />LEAD STAFF: <br />Jerry Pettit
