ACTION REQUESTED:
The Board of County Commissioners sign the resolution adopting the most recent update of the
Emergency Operation Plan (EOP) for the Kittitas County Public Health Department (KCPHD)
BACKGROUND:
As part of the Kittitas County Public Health Department’s (KCPHD) emergency preparedness, the
department maintains an Emergency Operation Plan (EOP). The plan is specific to KCPHD and is aligned
with the Kittitas County Comprehensive Emergency Management Plan (CEMP).
The EOP was developed using federal Comprehensive Preparedness Guide (CPG 101) and historically has
been reviewed by the Washington State Department of Health, local response partners, and Kittitas
County emergency management.
The EOP is intended to provide flexible and adaptable guidance to KCPHD and responders for all public
health hazards within Kittitas County.
RECOMMENDATION:
The Board of County Commissioners sign the resolution adopting the most recent update of the
Emergency Operation Plan (EOP) for the Kittitas County Public Health Department (KCPHD)
