Page 1 of 1 <br /> <br />Kittitas County <br />Public Health Department <br /> <br />Agenda Staff Report <br /> <br />AGENDA DATE: <br />02/01/2022 <br /> <br /> <br />ACTION REQUESTED: <br />The Board of County Commissioners sign the resolution adopting the most recent update of the <br />Emergency Operation Plan (EOP) for the Kittitas County Public Health Department (KCPHD) <br /> <br /> <br />BACKGROUND: <br />As part of the Kittitas County Public Health Department’s (KCPHD) emergency preparedness, the <br />department maintains an Emergency Operation Plan (EOP). The plan is specific to KCPHD and is aligned <br />with the Kittitas County Comprehensive Emergency Management Plan (CEMP). <br />The EOP was developed using federal Comprehensive Preparedness Guide (CPG 101) and historically has <br />been reviewed by the Washington State Department of Health, local response partners, and Kittitas <br />County emergency management. <br />The EOP is intended to provide flexible and adaptable guidance to KCPHD and responders for all public <br />health hazards within Kittitas County. <br /> <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br />The Board of County Commissioners sign the resolution adopting the most recent update of the <br />Emergency Operation Plan (EOP) for the Kittitas County Public Health Department (KCPHD) <br /> <br /> <br />LEAD STAFF: <br />Kasey Knutson, Special Programs Coordinator
