ACTION REQUESTED: BOCC Signature of mylar granting final approval for the Forest Ridge Ph 3 Final
Plat (LPF-21-00013 & LP-08-00014)
BACKGROUND: The Forest Ridge Preliminary Plat was approved on December 28, 2010 through
Resolution No. 2010-137 (LP-08-00014). This proposal is for nine (9) residential
lots, 7 future development tracts and 5 open space tracts on portions of parcel#
962156. The subject property is currently zoned Forest & Range and is located
northeast of the City of Cle Elum outside of the UGA in a Section 24, Township 20,
Range 15 in Kittitas County. The preliminary plat was approved as a performance-
based cluster plat which no longer exists in Kittitas County and allows for these
smaller lots with specific density bonuses for open space allocation percentages.
A final plat application was submitted by UKC Holdings, LLC, on December 22,
2021 requesting final mylar approval for Forest Ridge Ph 3. Due to necessary
changes, the application was returned and then resubmitted on January 20, 2022.
Staff has reviewed the final mylar with supporting documentation and finds that it is
consistent with the preliminary approval documents. Additionally, final plat review
has been processed in conformance with Kittitas County Code Title 16. The mylar
has been reviewed by all reviewing departments, and all signatures have been
obtained.
INTERACTION: Board of Commissioners, Community Development Services, Public Works, Public
Health, and Assessor’s Office
RECOMMENDATION: Signature of the Chair on the mylar for final plat approval of the Forest Ridge Ph 3
Final Plat (LPF-21-00013 & LP-08-00014).
HANDLING: Return signed mylar to staff for transmittal to authorized agent for Treasurer
signature and recording.
