BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />COUNTY OF KITTITAS <br />STATE OF WASHINGTON <br /> <br />RESOLUTION <br />NO. 2022-__________ <br /> <br /> <br />RESOLUTION TO ALLOW KITTITAS VALLEY EVENT CENTER TO FORGIVE <br />$6,853.95 IN UNCOLLECTIBLE DEBT <br /> <br />WHEREAS: On behalf of the Director, the Office Manager of the Kittitas Valley Event Center <br />tracks and issues monthly statements for monies owed; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS: Unpaid debts are sent to Evergreen Financial Services, Inc. for collection after 90 to <br />120 days of no payment; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS: The Director and Office Manager of the Kittitas Valley Event Center have reviewed <br />the December 15, 2021 report from Evergreen Financial Services, and following consultation with <br />Judy Pless, Budget & Finance Manager with the Auditor’s office, have found the following accounts <br />to be uncollectible: <br /> <br />KVEC 01/24/2001 Sandra Zellmer Past Statute Limits $20.70 <br />KVEC 10/01/2015 Live A Little Productions Past Statute Limits $4087.49 <br />KVEC 10/01/2015 Live A Little Productions Past Statute Limits $2745.76 <br /> TOTAL $6,853.95 <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of County Commissioners, after due <br />consideration, does hereby forgive the unpaid debts in the amount of $6,853.95 as listed above <br />payable to the Kittitas Valley Event Center. <br /> <br />DATED this ______________ day of _____________________, 2022, at Ellensburg, Washington. <br /> <br />BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON <br /> <br />________________________________ <br /> <br />Laura Osiadacz, Chairman <br /> <br />________________________________ <br />Cory Wright, Vice Chairman <br /> <br />________________________________ <br />Brett Wachsmith, Commissioner <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />________________________________ <br /> Clerk of the Board <br /> Deputy Clerk II
