01/10/2022 MINUTES 1 <br />COMMISSIONERS' MINUTES KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON BOCC CONFERENCE ROOM/ WEBEX SPECIAL MEETING MONDAY 10:00 A.M. JANUARY 10, 2022 <br />Board members present: Chairman Brett Wachsmith; Vice-Chairman Laura <br />Osiadacz; and Commissioner Cory Wright. <br /> <br />Others: Julie Kjorsvik, Clerk of the Board; Phil Backlund, <br />Consultant; and Carly Brettmann, Communications Director. <br /> SPECIAL MEETING WEEKLY PLANNING UPDATE COMMISSIONERS <br />At 10:25 a.m. Chairman Osiadacz opened a Special Meeting with Phil <br />Backlund, for their weekly planning update. <br /> <br />Mr. Backlund felt it would be beneficial to add EOS to the weekly <br />Office Administrative Meetings for approximately 15-30 minutes to <br />stay on track. <br /> <br />The Board discussed establishing a phased-out plan to meet with him <br />weekly and instead have him work with the Management Team in the <br />role of facilitator at their monthly meetings. Chairman Osiadacz <br />said she would bring the subject up at the February Executive <br />Committee meeting and the group could approach the Management Team <br />at their February meeting, followed by Mr. Backlund beginning in <br />March. <br /> <br />Mr. Backlund asked for everyone to provide feedback on the “norms” <br />and be ready to finalize them at next week’s meeting. <br /> <br />Meeting adjourned at 10:59 a.m. <br /> KITTITAS COUNTY COMMISSIONERS CLERK OF THE BOARD KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON <br /> Julie Kjorsvik Laura Osiadacz, Chairman <br />
