01/10/2022 MINUTES 1 COMMISSIONERS' MINUTES KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON WEBEX/CONF. ROOM REGULAR MEETING MONDAY 9:00 A.M. JANUARY 10, 2022 Board members present: Chairman Laura Osiadacz; Vice-Chairman Cory Wright and Commissioner Brett Wachsmith. Others: Mandy Buchholz, Administrative Supervisor; Julie Kjorsvik, Clerk of the Board; Carly Brettmann, Communications Director; Clay Myers, Sheriff; Taylor Crouch, Admin Assistant; Mark Cook, Public Works Director and 3 members of the Public. SPECIAL MEETING OFFICE STAFF MEETING COMMISSIONERS At 9:00 a.m. Chairman Osiadacz opened the Office Administration meeting. CALENDAR WEEK AT A GLANCE COMMISSIONERS The Board of County Commissioners reviewed their weekly calendar. PAF/VOUCHERS REVIEW OF PAF’S & VOUCHERS COMMISSIONERS The Board of County Commissioners approved and signed County Employee Personnel Action forms and vouchers. CORRESPONDENCE LOG REVIEW OF CORRESPONDENCE LOG COMMISSIONERS The Board of County Commissioners reviewed the weekly Correspondence Log, a listing of all incoming mail and correspondence for the week ending January 7, 2022. REVIEW DEPARTMENT HEAD ASSIGNMENTS COMMISSIONERS The Board reviewed the Departments and discussed reasons for what made sense on which one would be assigned to each Commissioner for 2022. The 2022 Department Head assignments are as follows: Commissioner Laura Osiadacz will oversee the Solid Waste/Maintenance; I.T. and Communications. Commissioner Wright will oversee the KVEC; HR, & DPW. Commissioner Wachsmith will oversee the CDS, Airport, Public Health & WSU/Noxious Weed. REVIEW COMMISSIONER COMMITTEE’S COMMISSIONERS Staff provided copies of the current committees that the Commissioners serve on.
