COMMISSIONERS' MINUTES KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON AUDITORIUM/WEBEX SPECIAL MEETING
TUESDAY 2:00 P.M. JANUARY 4, 2022
Board members present: Chairman Laura Osiadacz; Vice-Chairman Cory
Wright and Commissioner Brett Wachsmith.
Others: Julie Kjorsvik, Clerk of the Board; Mandy Buchholz,
Administrative Supervisor; Dan Carlson, CDS Director; and Carly
Brettmann, Communications Director.
Per Governor Inslee’s Proclamation 20-28 et seq., the public was
encouraged to join the meeting virtually or in person.
PUBLIC HEARING PERMIT & PLANNING FEE SCHEDULE CDS
At 2:00 p.m. CHAIRMAN OSIADACZ opened a Public Hearing to consider
the 2022 Community Development Services Building Permit and Planning
Fee Schedule.
DAN CARLSON, CDS DIRECTOR reviewed a Staff Report and explained how
they used the fee model with current Department Staff, expenditures
and valuation data to determine the proposed CDS fees for 2022. He
said the fees were divided into three categories including Building
Permit Fees for New Construction, Fees for Building Fixtures, and
Fees for Planning Services. He recommended the Board approve the fee
schedule as proposed.
THERE BEING NO ONE IN ATTENDANCE REQUESTING TO TESTIFY, THE PUBLIC PORTION OF THE HEARING WAS CLOSED.
VICE-CHAIRMAN WRIGHT moved to approve the proposed 2022 CDS Fee
Schedule as proposed, and direct Staff to prepare enabling
documents. COMMISSIONER WACHSMITH seconded. Motion carried 3-0.
The meeting was adjourned at 2:09 p.m.
