01/04/2022 MINUTES 1 <br />COMMISSIONERS' MINUTES KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON AUDITORIUM/WEBEX SPECIAL MEETING <br /> TUESDAY 2:00 P.M. JANUARY 4, 2022 <br />Board members present: Chairman Laura Osiadacz; Vice-Chairman Cory <br />Wright and Commissioner Brett Wachsmith. <br /> <br />Others: Julie Kjorsvik, Clerk of the Board; Mandy Buchholz, <br />Administrative Supervisor; Dan Carlson, CDS Director; and Carly <br />Brettmann, Communications Director. <br /> <br />Per Governor Inslee’s Proclamation 20-28 et seq., the public was <br />encouraged to join the meeting virtually or in person. <br /> PUBLIC HEARING PERMIT & PLANNING FEE SCHEDULE CDS <br />At 2:00 p.m. CHAIRMAN OSIADACZ opened a Public Hearing to consider <br />the 2022 Community Development Services Building Permit and Planning <br />Fee Schedule. <br /> DAN CARLSON, CDS DIRECTOR reviewed a Staff Report and explained how <br />they used the fee model with current Department Staff, expenditures <br />and valuation data to determine the proposed CDS fees for 2022. He <br />said the fees were divided into three categories including Building <br />Permit Fees for New Construction, Fees for Building Fixtures, and <br />Fees for Planning Services. He recommended the Board approve the fee <br />schedule as proposed. <br /> THERE BEING NO ONE IN ATTENDANCE REQUESTING TO TESTIFY, THE PUBLIC PORTION OF THE HEARING WAS CLOSED. <br /> VICE-CHAIRMAN WRIGHT moved to approve the proposed 2022 CDS Fee <br />Schedule as proposed, and direct Staff to prepare enabling <br />documents. COMMISSIONER WACHSMITH seconded.
