KITTITAS COUNTY <br />SHERIFF’S OFFICE <br /> <br />AGENDA STAFF REPORT <br /> <br /> <br />AGENDA DATE: January 4, 2022 <br /> <br />ACTION REQUESTED: Request to Approve a Resolution Authorizing Execution of <br />Amended Interlocal Agreement #K9561(7) between the Washington State Department of <br />Corrections and the County of Kittitas, Washington for the Housing of Inmates. <br /> <br /> <br />BACKGROUND: This is an amendment to the existing Interlocal Agreement signed in <br />2016 (#K9561(4)) between the Washington State Department of Corrections and Kittitas <br />County for the housing of inmates from January 1, 2022 – June 30, 2023. The proposed <br />daily rate for this period is $74.45 per Department offender. <br /> <br />INTERACTION: The Kittitas County Prosecutor’s Office has reviewed and approved <br />this Interlocal Agreement. <br /> <br />RECOMMENDATION: Request to Approve a Resolution Authorizing Execution of <br />Amended Interlocal Agreement #K9561(7) between the Washington State Department of <br />Corrections and the County of Kittitas, Washington for the Housing of Inmates. <br /> <br />HANDLING: Please return 1 signed original to KCSO.
