ACTION REQUESTED: REQUEST TO SET A PUBLIC HEARING
CONCERNING 2022 BOWERS FIELD RATES AND
FEES
BACKGROUND: Bowers Field Airport requests to set a public hearing to
consider adopting standardized rates and fees for the 2022
calendar year.
DISCUSSION: The Airport Advisory Committee approved the proposed
rates and fees at the November 10th meeting. This rates and
fees document standardized all rates at the Airport and
brings the Airport one step closer to being financial solvent.
This fee schedule adopts an increase in T-Hangar rental
rates, redefines “Access Fees”, and allows for tenants to opt
out of land maintenance while allowing the County to
generate revenue through the upkeep of the Airport
grounds.
INTERACTION: AAC, BoCC, and Prosecutor (Item 53194).
RECOMMENDATION: Set public hearing concerning 2022 Rates and Fees for
January 18th, at 2pm
HANDLING: Return one original to the Airport.
