<br /> <br />KITTITAS COUNTY <br />FINANCE STUDY SESSION MINUTES <br />BOCC CONFERENCE ROOM, 205 WEST 5TH ROOM 108 - ELLENSBURG <br />Special Meeting <br /> <br />THURSDAY 1:30 pm March 18, 2021 <br />Board members present: Commissioners Brett Wachsmith and Laura Osiadacz. Commissioner <br />Cory Wright was absent. <br />Others: Amy Mills, County Treasurer and Judy Pless, Budget & Finance Manager <br />OTHER BUSINESS <br />Meeting called order at 1:30 pm <br /> <br />AMERICA RESCUE PLAN FUNDING <br />Budget & Finance Manager Pless reported to the Board the County is scheduled to received <br />$9,296,698 in American Rescue Plan funds, with half coming in May 2021 and the other half <br />coming in October 2022. Pless recommended a new fund be created to track the revenues and <br />expenses and will present this at an agenda meeting. <br /> <br />BUDGET REPORTS <br />The Board received the information on the various sales taxes collected through February 2021. <br />The preliminary expenditure and revenue budget reports as of December 31, 2020 were also <br />reviewed. <br /> <br />UPDATE ON 2020 YEAR END REPORTING <br />The Board was presented the information to be sent to all departments on the data/information <br />needed by the Auditor’s office to complete the annual financial report.
