ACTION REQUESTED:
Request Kittitas County Board of County Commissioners signatures on the Resolution adopting the Kittitas
County Solid Waste Management Plan.
BACKGROUND:
Kittitas County Solid Waste in concurrence with RCW 70A.205.040 have work with the Solid Waste
Advisory committee and Jacobs Engineering to update the Kittitas County Solid Waste Management Plan.
The Plan has been submitted to the Department of Ecology, Department of Agriculture and the Washington
Utilities and Transportation Commission for approval per RCW 710A.205. In addition the Kittitas County
Solid Waste Management Plan has been adopted by resolution by all Cities and Towns with in the Kittitas
County per the Joint Solid Waste Disposal System Interlocal Agreement.
INTERACTION:
Prosecutors Office, Department of Ecology, Department of Agriculture and the Washington Utilities and
Transportation Commission, City of Ellensburg, City of Roslyn, City of Cle Elum, Town of South Cle
Elum, and City of Kittitas.
RECOMMENDATION:
Recommend Board of County Commissioners Approval of the the Resolution adopting the Kittitas County
Solid Waste Management Plan.

Return copy of Signed Resolution
