COMMISSIONERS' MINUTES KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON AUDITORIUM/WEBEX SPECIAL MEETING
MONDAY 2:00 P.M. DECEMBER 6, 2021
Board members present: Chairman Brett Wachsmith, Vice-Chairman Laura
Osiadacz and Commissioner Cory Wright.
Others present: Julie Kjorsvik, Clerk of the Board; Mandy Buchholz,
Administrative Supervisor; Jessica Miller; Administrative Assistant;
Judy Pless, Budget & Finance Manager; Dan Carlson, CDS Director;
Clay Myers, Sheriff; Jerry Pettit, Auditor; Diana MacKenzie, Upper
District Court Administrator; and 1 member of the public. PUBLIC HEARING 2022 BUDGET AUDITOR
At 2:00 p.m. CHAIRMAN WACHSMITH opened a Public Hearing to consider
adopting the 2022 Kittitas County Annual Budget.
JUDY PLESS, BUDGET & FINANCE MANAGER reviewed the 2022 Preliminary
Budget Worksheets for All Fund Revenues; Expense by Object; Total
County Budget by Fund; General Fund Revenues; and General Fund
Expenses.
THERE BEING NO ONE REQUESTING TO TESTIFY, THE PUBLIC PORTION OF THE HEARING WAS CLOSED. RESOLUTION 2021-186 2022 BUDGET AUDITOR VICE-CHAIRMAN OSIADACZ moved to approve Resolution No. 2021-186,
Adopting the Budget for the County of Kittitas, Washington, for the
Fiscal Year Ending December 31, 2022. COMMISSIONER WRIGHT seconded.
It was Judy Pless’ last budget before retiring on December 31, 2021,
after 45 years of service with Kittitas County, and the Board
expressed their appreciation for all her hard work in preparing the
County budgets over the years.
Motion carried 3-0.
The meeting was adjourned at 2:09 p.m.
