BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />COUNTY OF KITTITAS <br />STATE OF WASHINGTON <br />ordinanceNo. &Phl'0t+ <br />ADOPTION OF THE KITTITAS COUNTY CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT <br />PROGRAM FOR THE PLANNING PERIOD 2022.2027 <br />WHEREAS: Kittitas County opted into the Growth Management Act, RCW 36.70{,voluntarily <br />on December 27,1990, through Resolution 90-138; and <br />WHEREAS: Kittitas County adopted the Kittitas County Comprehensive Plan in August of <br />1996, and the Capital Facilities Plan was adopted as part of the Comprehensive <br />Plan; and <br />WIIEREAS: Kittitas County amended the Comprehensive Plan in 2001 to adopt the six-year <br />Capital Improvement Program through a process separate from the annual <br />comprehensive plan amendment process and any changes made are adopted by <br />reference to the Kittitas County Comprehensive Plan at adoption; and <br />WHEREAS: The Kittitas County Commissioners conducted a public hearing on November 29, <br />2021, to consider the six-year Capital Improvement Program for the planning <br />period 2022-2027; and <br />WIIEREAS: The Kittitas County Commissioners considered public testimony at said public <br />hearing and approved the Capital Improvement Program for the planning period <br />2022-2027. <br />NOW' THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED That the Board of County Commissioners after due <br />deliberation and in the best interest of the public, does hereby approve the six-year Capital <br />Improvement Program for the planning period 2022-2027 as attached hereto. <br />ADOPTED this 7tr'day of December,2}2l <br />BOARD OF CO SIONERS <br />,w <br />Chairman <br />Capital Improvement Plan 2022-2027 <br />Page I I <br />Cory Wright, Commissioner <br />December 7 ,2021
