AGENDA STAFF REPORT
AGENDA DATE: December 7, 2021
ACTION REQUESTED: Request to Approve the Professional Services Agreement
between Kittitas County and Accurate Electric Unlimited.
BACKGROUND: This agreement is between Kittitas County and Accurate Electric
Unlimited. The second floor hallway and associated dayrooms in the jail have blind
spots in which the Sheriff would remedy with this proposal. Accurate Electric Unlimited
(AEU) proposes to provide and install twenty‐six new dome cameras. The Vicon
V2000D‐W313MIR is a 2MP dome camera with a polycarbonate cover. AEU will install
the cameras with CAT 6 cabling and route to the second floor security electronics room
above the hallway ceiling tiles. The County will provide the requisite POE Ethernet
switches and the fiber link to the switches. AEU will core drill two 2” holes above the
security electronic room door and install cable management to the switches. Each cable
will be tested and certified. Cameras in the dayrooms will have conduit in inmate
accessible areas. AEU proposes the installation be completed with two (2) on site
Journeymen with remote programming by our software engineer within two weeks. AEU
proposes to be on site within 35 days of Notice to Proceed.
INTERACTION: The Kittitas County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office has reviewed and
approved.
RECOMMENDATION: Request to Approve the Professional Services Agreement
between Kittitas County and Accurate Electric Unlimited.
HANDLING: Return one fully executed original to the Sheriff’s Office.
