KITTITAS COUNTY <br />AIRPORT DEPARTMENT <br />December 7, 2021 AGENDA <br />AGENDA STAFF REPORT <br /> <br /> <br />AGENDA DATE: December 7, 2021 CONSENT AGENDA <br /> <br />ACTION REQUESTED: REQUEST TO SET PUBLIC HEARING ADOPT THE <br />NEW MINIMUM STANDARDS, RULES AND <br />REGULATIONS DOCUMENT <br /> <br /> <br />BACKGROUND: Bowers Field Airport requests to set a public hearing to <br />adopt the new minimum standards, rules, and regulations <br />document governing Bowers Field Airport. <br /> <br />DISCUSSION: The Airport, in consultation with the AAC, Prosecutor’s <br />Office and other interested parties, has developed a new <br />Minimum Standards, Rules and Regulation document that <br />will replace Title 19 of the Kittitas County Code. <br /> This document governs the design and building standards <br />of aeronautical businesses on the Airport and clearly lays <br />out required behavior of all parties utilizing this County <br />asset. <br /> <br />INTERACTION: AAC, BoCC, Prosecutors Office. <br /> <br />RECOMMENDATION: Set public hearing concerning Minimum Standards, Rules <br />and Regulations Document for December 21st, at 2pm. <br />HANDLING: Return one original to the Airport. <br /> <br />ATTACHMENTS: Minimum Standards, Rules and Regulations. <br /> <br />LEAD STAFF: Ken Grannan <br />Airport Director
