ACTION REQUESTED: REQUEST TO SET PUBLIC HEARING ADOPT THE
NEW MINIMUM STANDARDS, RULES AND
REGULATIONS DOCUMENT
BACKGROUND: Bowers Field Airport requests to set a public hearing to
adopt the new minimum standards, rules, and regulations
document governing Bowers Field Airport.
DISCUSSION: The Airport, in consultation with the AAC, Prosecutor’s
Office and other interested parties, has developed a new
Minimum Standards, Rules and Regulation document that
will replace Title 19 of the Kittitas County Code.
This document governs the design and building standards
of aeronautical businesses on the Airport and clearly lays
out required behavior of all parties utilizing this County
asset.
INTERACTION: AAC, BoCC, Prosecutors Office.
RECOMMENDATION: Set public hearing concerning Minimum Standards, Rules
and Regulations Document for December 21st, at 2pm.
HANDLING: Return one original to the Airport.
ATTACHMENTS: Minimum Standards, Rules and Regulations.
