AGENDA DATE: December 7, 2021
ACTION REQUESTED: Adoption by Ordinance of the 2021 Annual Docket Amendments to
Kittitas County Code and Comprehensive Plan Approved by the Board of
County Commissioners
BACKGROUND: The County is amending Kittitas County Code and Comprehensive Plan
through the annual docketing procedure required by KCC 15B.03.030.
The Kittitas County Planning Commission held a public hearing on
November 10, 2021, to consider 18 proposed amendments to Kittitas
County Code and/or Comprehensive Plan. All eighteen (18) items were
recommended for approval, some with amendments, to the Kittitas County
Board of Commissioners.
The Kittitas County Board of County Commissioners held an open public
hearing on November 22, 2021. At the public hearing and after
deliberation of the proposed items, the Board of County Commissioners
approved, or approved with amendment, all eighteen (18) of the items.
The Commissioners at the hearing directed staff to prepare enabling
documents for the docket items.
INTERACTION: Community Development Services, Public Works, Kittitas County
Airport, Prosecuting Attorney and Board of County Commissioners.
RECOMMENDATION: Adopt the Ordinance regarding Kittitas County’s 2021 Annual Docket
items as approved by the Board of Commissioners during the public
hearing on November 22, 2021 and have Board Chair sign the updated
zoning map.
