Request #53160 - Therapeutic Court Grant Program Contract
Initial request:
The Courts (Upper & Lower) have received a award for a grant in the amount of
$139,521 for SB 5476 Therapeutic Courts. Please review the attached Grant
Agreement GRT 22439.

Resolution:
Be careful with the financial allocation directions. They will be fussy about those.
Likewise the quarterly report standards and invoices. As the grant provides,
AOC has complete discretion to cut you off if the paperwork and performance
are not up to the standards they have set out.
Address for Diana is wrong - not insurmountable, but something to watch for
due to the risks of missing timelines.
The indemnification provision is rather one-sided. It should not be a problem if
anything like appropriate care is exercised.
Section 18 is unusual. Be very careful to avoid breach.
With all that in mind, approved as to form. This is purely a take it or leave it
funding proposition.
