KITTITAS COUNTY <br />CDS STUDY SESSION MINUTES <br />BOCC CONFERENCE ROOM, WEBEX <br />Regular Meeting <br />MONDAY 1:30 PM November 8, 2021 <br />Board members present: Chairman Brett Wachsmith; Vice -Chairman <br />Laura Osiadacz and Commissioner Cory Wright. <br />Others In -Person: Dan Carlson, Community Development Services; <br />Mark Cook and Rebecca Cruse, Public Works; Kristine Foreman, <br />Human Resources; and Carly Brettman, Communications Department. <br />Others via WebEx: Neil Caulkins, Deputy Prosecuting Attorney; <br />Mike Flory, Community Development Services; Jessica Miller, <br />Community Development Services and two (2) members of the <br />public. <br />At 1:30 pm Chairman Wachsmith opened the Community Development <br />Services Study Session. <br />RESIDENTIAL BUILDING PERMIT ACTIVITY REPORT <br />CDS Director Dan Carlson presented the Residential Building <br />Permit activity for the months of September and October. The <br />Critical Areas Ordinance was adopted and we are under a notice <br />with Commerce. The earliest we can bring this before the Board <br />of County Commissioners for adoption is December 7, 2021. We <br />will build in a 60 -day effective date which will take us to <br />February 7, 2022, to go into effect.
