KITTITAS COUNTY <br />DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS <br />2021 AGENDA STAFF REPORT <br />AGENDA DATE: November 16, 2021 <br />ACTION REQUESTED: Request to Approve a Resolution Authorizing the Chair's <br />Signature on the Quit Claim Deed Conveying the Upper <br />County Road Maintenance Shop to the City of Cie Elum, <br />WA <br />BACKGROUND: The City of Cie Elum desires owning the Upper County <br />Road Maintenance Shop. The Sheriffs Office desires <br />relocating Search and Rescue to Cie Elum. Public Works <br />has completed a subdivision of Cie Elum airport property <br />that the City desires exchanging for the shop property. The <br />City, The Sheriff and Public Works are all in agreement <br />with the proposed land exchange. <br />INTERACTION: Public Works. <br />RECOMMENDATION: Approve the Resolution Authorizing the Chair's Signature <br />on the Quit Claim Deed Conveying the Upper County Road <br />Maintenance Shop to the City of Cie Elum, WA. <br />HANDLING: Return one original to Public Works. <br />ATTACHMENTS: Resolution with Quit Claim Deeds. <br />LEAD STAFF: Mark R.
