ACTION REQUESTED:
The Board of County Commissioners authorizes a Resolution authorizing the execution of an
Interlocal Agreement between the Kittitas County Public Health Department and the
Washington State Department of Health. (Effective dates: 03/15/2021 – 05/31/2023)
BACKGROUND:
The COVID-19 Rural Health Equity grant provides funding to address COVID-19 and advance
health equity for Kittitas County. KCPHD will use this funding to convene a community coalition
which will use local data to determine how to advance health equity and reduce Covid-19
related health disparities Kittitas County. The coalition will select local strategies to be
implemented and funded by this grant through May 2023.

RECOMMENDATION:
