Kittitas County <br />Public Health Department <br /> <br />Agenda Staff Report <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />AGENDA DATE: <br />11/16/2021 <br /> <br />ACTION REQUESTED: <br />The Board of County Commissioners authorizes a Resolution authorizing the execution of an <br />Interlocal Agreement between the Kittitas County Public Health Department and the <br />Washington State Department of Health. (Effective dates: 03/15/2021 – 05/31/2023) <br /> <br />BACKGROUND: <br />The COVID-19 Rural Health Equity grant provides funding to address COVID-19 and advance <br />health equity for Kittitas County. KCPHD will use this funding to convene a community coalition <br />which will use local data to determine how to advance health equity and reduce Covid-19 <br />related health disparities Kittitas County. The coalition will select local strategies to be <br />implemented and funded by this grant through May 2023. <br /> <br />INTERACTION: <br />Kittitas County Prosecutor’s Office: Reviewed and approved on 10/28/2021 <br />Kittitas County Auditor’s Office: Reviewed and approved on 11/01/2021 <br /> <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br />The Board of County Commissioners authorizes a Resolution authorizing the execution of an <br />Interlocal Agreement between the Kittitas County Public Health Department and the <br />Washington State Department of Health.
