BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />COUNTY OF KITTITAS <br />STATE OF WASHINGTON <br />RESOL <br />NO.2021 <br />UTION.JJfr <br />RESOLUTION TO APPROVE KITTITAS COUNTY DEVELOPMENTAL <br />DISABILITIES PLAN 202I.2023 <br />WHEREAS, the County has obligations under Chapter 7lA.l4 RCW to provide certain services <br />to individuals as detailed in the statute pertaining to developmental disabilities; and <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Washington Administrative Code 388-850-020, each county shall <br />submit a written plan for developmental disabilities services to the Washington <br />State Department of Social and Health Services, Developmental Disabilities <br />Administration (DDA), every two years in alignment with the state's fiscal <br />biennium.; and <br />WHEREAS, according to the county guidelines from the Developmental Disabilities <br />Administration, the biennial developmental disabilities plan is intended to be <br />developed by the county developmental disabilities advisory board; and <br />WHEREAS, the plan aims to encourage and support the ability of communities to include <br />peoqle with disabilities, influence the direction of developmental disabilities <br />services; and <br />WHEREAS, the plan will help determine the direction of contracted services with input from <br />persons with disabilities, families, and the community; and <br />WHEREAS, the Kittitas County Developmental Disability Advisory Committee made the <br />formal recommendation to approve the Kittitas County Developmental Disabilities <br />Plan202l-2023 which is attached hereto and hereby incorporated by this <br />reference; and <br />NOW THEREFORE' BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of County Commissioners of Kittitas <br />County now hereby adopts the Kittitas County Developmental Disabilities Plan 2021-2023 that <br />is referenced herein. <br />DATED this <br />g^A or N ovepn bLf ).2021, at Ellensburg, Washington.day <br />BOARD OF ONERS <br />KITTITAS TON <br />of the
