AGENDA STAFF REPORT
AGENDA DATE: November 2, 2021
ACTION REQUESTED: Request Boards approval for Chairs signature on
Agreement No. SWMCLCP-2123-KiCoSW-00045 with the
Department of Ecology.
BACKGROUND: The Solid Waste Department has received a grant for the
Department of Ecology for Litter pick up and Illegal dump cleanup in the amount of
$70,404.00. These grant funds must be spent by the end on June 2023.
These funds support our youth litter crew and community clean up events in an effort to
keep Kittitas County roads and public land free of litter.
INTERACTION: Solid Waste Department, and Department of Ecology.
RECOMMENDATION: Signature of the Chair.
HANDLING: Return two signed copies to the Solid Waste Department.
