ACTION REQUESTED: BOCC Signature on resolution granting preliminary approval for the Suncadia Ph. 3
Div. 17 Tumble Creek Preliminary Plat (LP-21-00002).
BACKGROUND: The Ph. 3 Div. 17 Preliminary Plat was brought before the Board in a Public Hearing
held on October 19, 2021. Staff presented the project for approval. No public
comments were given. The Board voted to approve the preliminary plat 2-0 and
directed staff to prepare enabling documents.
The applicant submitted the preliminary plat application on August 10, 2021,
requesting preliminary approval for the Suncadia Ph. 3 Div. 17 Tumble Creek Plat.
This Plat creates 80 detached residential lots with access, community/recreational
open spaces, and other natural open space tracts. The proposed lots range in size
from 14,500 to 45,200 square feet. An open public hearing was held on October 19,
2021, and the BOCC motioned to approve the preliminary plat and directed staff to
prepare enabling documents.
INTERACTION: Board of Commissioners, Community Development Services, Public Works, Public
Health, and Assessor’s Office.
RECOMMENDATION: Board of County Commissioners signature on the resolution granting preliminary
approval for Suncadia Ph. 3 Div. 17 Tumble Creek Preliminary Plat (LP-21-00002).
HANDLING: Return signed copy of resolution approving preliminary plat to staff.
