Ruby St., Suite 2, Ellensburg, WA 98926 <br />CDS@CO.KITTITAS.WA.US <br />Office (509) 962-7506 <br /> <br /> <br />“Building Partnerships – Building Communities” <br /> <br />BOCC CDS STUDY SESSION <br /> <br /> <br />AGENDA DATE: November 2, 2021 <br /> <br />ACTION REQUESTED: BOCC Signature on resolution granting preliminary approval for the Suncadia Ph. 3 <br />Div. 17 Tumble Creek Preliminary Plat (LP-21-00002). <br /> <br /> <br />BACKGROUND: The Ph. 3 Div. 17 Preliminary Plat was brought before the Board in a Public Hearing <br />held on October 19, 2021. Staff presented the project for approval. No public <br />comments were given. The Board voted to approve the preliminary plat 2-0 and <br />directed staff to prepare enabling documents. <br /> <br /> The applicant submitted the preliminary plat application on August 10, 2021, <br />requesting preliminary approval for the Suncadia Ph. 3 Div. 17 Tumble Creek Plat. <br />This Plat creates 80 detached residential lots with access, community/recreational <br />open spaces, and other natural open space tracts. The proposed lots range in size <br />from 14,500 to 45,200 square feet. An open public hearing was held on October 19, <br />2021, and the BOCC motioned to approve the preliminary plat and directed staff to <br />prepare enabling documents. <br /> <br />INTERACTION: Board of Commissioners, Community Development Services, Public Works, Public <br />Health, and Assessor’s Office. <br /> <br />RECOMMENDATION: Board of County Commissioners signature on the resolution granting preliminary <br />approval for Suncadia Ph. 3 Div. 17 Tumble Creek Preliminary Plat (LP-21-00002). <br /> <br />HANDLING: Return signed copy of resolution approving preliminary plat to staff. <br /> <br />ATTACHMENTS: Resolution for Suncadia Ph. 3 Div. 17 Tumble Creek Plat (LP-21-00002). <br /> <br />LEAD STAFF: Kelly Bacon, Staff Planner
